  When I took it up with rep I had organised the move with, and I told her this was a result of negligence, and I would be taking it up with the insurer, her only response was "good luck proving that".

  Exactly what I was looking for when it came from moving our stuff from Melbourne to Brisbane. Staff were helpful and friendly. The price was nothing huge too. Would contact Allied Pickfords again in the future.

  I used them on a move from Melbourne to Perth. The guys packing up in Melb were great, and the guys unpacking in Perth were great.. but somewhere in the middle it all went wrong. When the drivers showed up to deliver - they were the ones left to tell me that only half had of my items had been sent... the rest was still in Melbourne.

  15 months ago when we arrived from Malaysia to Melbourne, we were actually contemplating whether it'll be the same lazy attitude & unknowledgeable staff we got there then who'll be unpacking our stuff here.Our experience with the M'sian packers were they couldnt communicate properly in English, lazy n they keep packing even potted soil into boxes to Australia! Can you imagine what a nerd will do this & luckily my domestic helper spotted on time ! Anyway, for the staff we received in Melbourne were just the reverse. They were truly mind blowing and so good. And for now, we are moving interstate. So we called our proven and favourite Allied Pickford once again. The team were very good. Knowledgeable, crafty even with the most difficult furniture dismantling, the tall supervisor, Mr Shane - took all e initiative and time to dismantle e complicated garden shed & also carried the awfully heavy office furniture into the containers with so much care and pain. Second time ,we were very lucky to have young Lewis to help us w interstate move. He was such an adorable accomodating person and helped us beautifully. So would really like to show our deepest aporeciation to the dedicated staff: Shane, Rhy, Nathan H, Lews & Nathan R for making our stressful move such a breeze!!Highly recommend ALLIED PICKFORDS to any interested clients intend to move locally in Australia.   There was damage to irreplaceable items, family heirlooms, custom furniture from overseas. And there were still boxes missing from the second delivery!

  Efficient service and did everything they said they were going to do. Peter Paisley was outstanding - he realised that there were two people in this move, myself and my wife - and dealt with us together throughout the process. I've always been told that moving interstate or internationally is an emotionally draining experience, but it's not until you go through it that you realise how difficult it is. A credit to Peter and the team for making us feel comfortable and looked after the whole way through.
